Four Floors Apart

So with only one midterm remaining, that's later today and I've given up on studying because, well it's Psychology and that's by far my easiest class, I can take some time out to post some music to get rid of that end of week exhaustion, and replace it with great music. The first dubstep I've posted in quite a while, I think... And there is a reason for that, and it's that most dubstep now is just copy and pasted drops that are way too over the top for my liking. These guys though, damn. I'm loving the melody and the drops are nice, even has some buildup which is nice.
Acid Wolfpack-Coyote Kisses

Oh look, another genre I've kinda of been neglecting, mash ups! There was those two Kap Slap one's but that's really been it of late, which is too bad. But that comes with having less time to troll through the internet to find good ones. Sure, there are lots of mash ups, just not all of them are good, and I like this one, quite a bit.

I Know This Song!

Sorry this post is up later the usual, I'm still adjusting to the sleep schedual at University, which by the way is don't sleep, it's bad. Today you get to hear some mash ups that have been ringing around in my head for the last little while. I'm hesitant to call it Mash Up Monday because that suggests there will be more, but oh well, let's just get into it.

So I really wish that Mochi Beats didn't find religion, or perhaps it's better to say I just wish that he didn't stop making music, at the very least that he didn't take down all of his other music so I don't have to scavenge the internet for it. Anyways, I know mashups aren't loved by a large majority of people(from my experience anyways) so if you don't like them, let me know why, I'm curious. I find them great for running because they're upbeat and dancing for obvious reason. Aside from the fact I can't dance, I have the terminal disease of being white. I hope your week's are great, I'm out!

I'd really hoped to share some more with you guys, sadly Mochi Beats' first album is impossible to find, if anyone has a copy I'd love to have it.

Teenage Sex and Yoga

So DMCA got mad at my last post and I'm not sure why. But I'm back. And with 10 more tracks so let's hop into it shall we? A heat wave has hit my humble town and it's not fun working in the kinda of sun that makes you wish you could lie in ice all day. But this mix has got some stuff that will chill you out in the over bearing heat and then light you up for the long nights.

Can't Go Quietly

Here we go, week two of my summer mixtapes. This one is a bit longer, and less diverse. Wait, that wasn't supposed to happen but it just kinda...did. I picked some songs and realized some fell into similar genres. But that's how it goes, hope you guys enjoy your week, go hard the summer is in it's downhill slide!

Finished!

I'm back for the time. And super amped on pretty much everything right now cause today is a big day for me. I have my last day of high school classes, EVER! And I'm headed downtown to party on the streets of Vancouver when the Canucks get to within 1 win from the Stanley Cup! Yes, I'm deeply Canadian at heart.

So in the spirit of that I'm here to post some dance mashup music that is a bit old, like earlier this year and I did hear it like the week it came out just never got around to posting it up here. So now I will, so here it is. The White Panda are a DJ duo from Chi-town and California, and they've got some serous talent for mashing up music. I know a lot of people don't like it, but I just feel like dancing the night away cause I'm so stoked on everything, so here you go. This is a sample of my favorite songs, they're full mix tape is available here

F.Y.I.F! Vol.2

Yet another party anthem post. This one features remix duo The White Panda. With mash-ups becoming more popular, as previously stated, these two put out some club bangers, and they're getting some recognition for it. They even made Waka Flocka's terrible song enjoyable to listen to by mashing it with Romanian dance epic Stereo Love by Edward Maya. But, on to this song.

I've never really been a fan of Kid Cudi's breakthrough song but it gave him a career so good on him. I've heard the bassline sped up and used in a few other mash-ups, most notably Mochi Beat's version. Tiesto's hit is less known cause, well, it's club music. And no one remembers the name of those songs. Except people like me, who love club music even with all their trashy thumps and bad dance moves. The White Panda are Procrast and DJ Griffi, and as far as I can tell, both from LA. They have two albums,Versus and Rematch, both downloadable for free. That makes them awesome. They perform with Panda masks on,no idea why but maybe next post about them, and there most likely will be, I'll have found out. But for now, all I know is their music, and damn is it good!

These two make an odd marriage of two very different songs, and it makes for a great dance track, even during the day as a "pick-me-up". So finish listening to the song, download it, call up some people and celebrate the end of the week! Have a good one guys, I'm out!
