Happy Halloween!

Okay so new music to make your Sunday just a little bit better. Some Adventure Club because they're dubstep mixes are pretty damn good and some Kaskade because his new album is just amazing. Pick it up if you haven't already. The duality idea of Fire & Ice is pretty cool, I prefer quite a bit of ICE better which is odd for me but oh well. So here's two of the best in American Electronica coming together to make something pretty damn good.
Lick It(Original Mix)-Kaskade & Skrillex

And in this corner we have the remix mastery of Adventure Club coming together with the mysterious duo that is Flight Facilities. Even if we don't know where they're from or what their names are, they still make some damn good music. Adventure Club just adds a bit of bass and some nice tempo changes to it. Enjoy.
Crave you(Adventure Club Remix)-Flight Facilities

I hope you guys have a good couple of days, I'm trying to get back on schedule, but Halloween is kinda messing with that. I hope your nights and days have been as candy and substance induced as they're supposed to be. I'm out!

Stayin' Alive

It's been four days, I know. Midterms constantly are not fun times so I guess I just have to keep at it. And I will keep this updated as much as possible, but I'm no super human, not even an above average human, so don't expect the normal. But DO sub my twitter if you actually wanna know when I post my ramblings, I always update that when I post.

So yeah, here's a nice house track that has been running around through my ears all week. It's got a nice build up and the house drops make me so happy it's crazy. The vocals are a nice touch too, sets it apart from just a thumping bassline that I've discovered most people think constitutes all electronic music.
Walking Alone-Dirty South & Those Usual Suspects

And in the other corner, some hard hitting dubstep from that favorite Canadian Duo!

Don't Listen

So considering the ammount of work I must have done by the end of the day today, forgive my short post but that's just how it's going to be.
Tyler,The Creator is the lead man of Odd Future, and he's blown up all over the place. For being so young he's got some very nice vocals and better rhymes, it's unreal. He's the creative talent behind the group too, doing most of the mixing, beat making and artistic promotion for the strange collective. And he's what? 20. Jesus I feel useless, but just listen to his flow, it's insane.
Let's Dance-Tyler,The Creator

Next we've got Black Light Dinner Party, I just love their indie jams. I hope you do too. I just hope that they keep making more music, they're talent is undeniable.

Happy Birthday!

So it's been one full year since I started writing this blog, holy shit. That's quite sometime. It's changed and morphed into something I was not expecting, but I still love to write about the music that gets me through my week. So in honor of that, I've got a bunch of music that you guys should listen to, download, love, or hate. Regardless of the outcome, I think that you should at least check it out. Some of this stuff I heard over a year ago, and some of it i just heard 20 minutes ago so it's a nice mix. I hope that come next year, I'll be sitting writing awkwardly about music still, and not knowing when to stop. Keep it real guys, I'm out!

Late Night Ink

I'm sorry, midterms again this week, don't know why, not like it's the middle of the term but nooo... Okay anyways, my point is that I'm writing this at 12 at night because I just realized I didn't write today, and it'd been two days. So instead of waiting and putting it off YET another day,I'm going to post right here, right now. About like nothing because I'm falling asleep. Also, Saturday is this Blogs One year Anniversary, which I just realized like...now, so don't expect anything huge, maybe a couple extra songs, and I might try out these "dynamic views" that blogger has been harping on me with comment boxes all over the damn place, so yeah. Music.
Drift-Funkagenda & Adam K

I know I just posted about this guy, but you do NOT wanna know how many times I've listened to this song since I first heard it, which was like 4 or 5 days ago. I'm averaging like 3 or 4 plays a day. Oh boy.

Dance Or Die!

So this will be quick, enjoy some good music, mash-ups even, again. Oh my I'm going on a Mash-up binge again, sorry. Hope you guys like them, hear'em play.
Guetta's Calling Solvieg Up-Kap Slap

My Dangerously Melodic Anthem by D.VELOPED
Damn this guy is good. He somehow takes WAY too many tracks and fits them in. A lovely mix if you ask me.

I'm out guys, I hope you enjoy the music.

Transatlantic

Okay back on top my regular(ish) posting schedule, and with that you get some new songs, because I love you that much! Or because I have this compulsive desire to share music, one of the two. So with that, here's a pretty remix by Swedish talent Alesso of an already pretty damn good song. I've been having an on-going discussion about if build-up is good in songs, this definitively has it, but I think it adds to the experience. Lemme know what you think.
Pressure(Alesso Remix)-Alex Kenji,Starkillers & Nadia Ali

Second we have a nice and new Indie sound from Futurecop! I love their album artwork which is very cute, and the fact that they have an ! in their name makes me happy for reason I don't understand. But anyways, they just put out a new EP, if you like this song, go and check it out! It's pretty good.
Is It a Crime?-Futurecop!
So there you have it, two totally different songs, enjoy them, I'm gunna go be productive with the rest of my day. Hah. I'm out!

Take Your Time

I told you I'd be back! With something different today too, so get get ready to hate it or love it. Which is really all you can do with...well I'm not sure what to call either of these artists but both are incredible. Blue Sky Black Death are two guys that hail from underground hip-hop roots and are now making some really nice experimental music, I'm not sure how else to classify it. The chilling vocals over top some of the most unique beats I've heard in a long time.
Call To Arms-Blue Sky Black Death

None Like Joshua is another MC that I would classify as underground or indie hip-hop. He's got some smooth vocals and some very nice classically influenced melodies. It's another love it or hate it kind of song, so I'd be happy to hear you opinion.

So there you have it, this post is full of experimental songs! Hope you guys enjoy them, I'm out.

Turtles and Bears

I'm not dead! I swear! I just came back after Thanksgiving break and realized I had put off too much homework been doing all that. Sorry guys=( Okay so here, new music to tide you over,I'll probably post again tomorrow and then get back to a regular schedual. So here's Baths, they're really cool and you should check them out, okay? His aimbient/glitchy sound is just amazing. It's like if ediT and Sabrepulse met. I know, if you don't know who those people are don't worry, they're not big names. Well, ediT kinda is... Just enjoy the song and I'll stop rambling ♥
Aminals-Baths

In another totally unrelated genre, one of my hip-hop favorites, Gorilla Warfare Tactics. They dropped their mixtape this summer, and it was good. Now they're putting out some new content, I really hope they keep going with this flow, it's unreal. Some depressing rhymes mixed with clever word play and upbeat tracks. So with that verbal praise, check out this song, I'm bad at describing music. And it's a choice thing, so yeah... rock it loud.
Dark Saber Jedi-Gorilla Warfare Tactics

Like I said, I'll probably post again tomorrow, so watch out for that! If you have a Twitter follow me, it's over on the right, and I always tweet links to my posts, regardless of my poor posting times! I'm out guys.

Unfounded Expectations

Here we go, posting time! More music for you, more weekend for me! I know I promised more of an article today, but yeah that's not going to happen. I am writing this at home because it's Canadian Thanksgiving so I have some family functions I have to go attend and all that. I'm not complaining thought, home cooked food and free laundry, damn I feel so College. This song by Daughter is pretty amazing, her voice is just chilling beyond belief and the lyrics, well sorry for another depressing song. I'll try to stop that, but it makes me feel so thoughtful after I hear this song, and yes that's a good thing.
Landfill-Daughter

So yeah, Martin Sovieg, enough said. He makes some great songs, with nice pretty backing vocals and weird music videos. French Open? Like really? Oh well, his drum tracks are nice and they make me feel good. You should too. Be big in another country, it's better I hear.
Big In Japan-Martin Solvieg

So if you're from Canada, enjoy your Thanksgiving, if you're not, enjoy the music and have a good weekend, I'll be back Monday! I'm out.

Sleepless Mornings

Okay so here we go, nice and fast today. First off is a chilling song from the movie Sucker Punch. Yeah, weird movie but I actually really liked it, and this song is just fantastic. The soft vocals mixed with the ambient music, well it's one of the best songs I've heard off a movie, and a damn good song in it's own right.
Where Is My Mind?-Yoav & Emily Browning
PS this song starts real quiet, so either turn up your volume, suggested, and or download it.

In a nice contrast, which actually wasn't planned, we have a very happy song. Whomever did the vocals for this track are like the ideal person you want doing songs that are supposed to make you feel good inside for no reason. Honestly, they're just so overflowing with joy! Message ain't bad either, so enjoy it!
I'm In Love(Vocal Mix)-Alex Gaudino

I know, rushed I'm sorry, I'll try to make it up to you guys with a few most songs on Saturday, have a good couple of days. I'm out!

Memories Worth Repressing

I know, I'm a day late, terribly sorry but give me a break, I do have to go to school. I know, bad excuse,it's actually because I woke up 10 minutes before class and didn't have time to write up a post during any of my classes yesterday so you get it tonight, while I'm falling asleep. Oh goody! So what kind of music did you have to wait a day for? While, a mash up by Mitch-Mash, whom actually graced me with a comment last time I talked about him! Oh that made me happy, so keep doing what you do mate, this song takes me away to flashing lights and crowded dance floors.
Ying-Yang Love-Mitch Mash
PS it's from a mixtape called Swagged out Vol.2

So with a song that moves your feet, how about I share with you an Indie favorite of mine. I have a soft spot for indie music as my fantastic ability to over think every situation goes very will with the melancholy music and (sometimes) downright depressing lyrics. I hope you like this song as much as I do.
A Thousand Years-Brandtson

So there you have it, two songs that could barely be farther away from each other, go figure. Sorry for the awkward posting time, I told you I'd try, I didn't promise ♥
Have a good couple of days, I'm out guys!

PS the picture is pretty clever, as much I dislike tumblr, check out the link in the bottom right, they're pretty funny.

Speed of Sound

Hello October! You kinda crept up on me, I didn't even realize that September was nearly done until I looked at the date today, like whoa. Month just flew by, but that's just a random interlude, the more important thing I have to say is that you should check out Hoodie Allen, he's been blowing up the blog scene for a while, got named as one of the best up and comers a while ago, along with G-Eazy,whom I've also had a recent obsession with. So take this song, and listen to it, a few times.
Oh and he's got a free mixtape, a few I think actually, check him out here.
Flipping Out-Hoodie Allen

So I've actually been posting quite a bit of chill music lately, I've been into just putting it on while I'm trying to learn stuff, and it's been helping. Due to the fact this blog is just an outlet of my obsessive desire to share the music I love, it's a bit all over the place. Hope that isn't a problem...

Anyways, the other song that I've had in my head of late is by French House/electro-pop producer Madeon, I've posted about him before so as always you can click his name below and get linked to all previous posts, which in this case is only one or two. Anyways, he's taken a Yelle song, that I didn't like too much in the first place, and made it about 30x better, and now I've played it like 10 times in two days, which is quite often. This kid has blown up, after his first exposure with his remix of Raise Your Weapon, he's been putting out big hits. This is no exception.
Que Veux-Tu(Madeon Remix)-Yelle
So now I have to go catch up on homework that I put off all weekend and then just relax, have a good couple of days, I'm out!
